About EGSA at the University of Arizona
The Entomology Graduate Student Association (EGSA) is an entirely student-run club. Our goals are to promote the study of insects, to support our fellow graduate students in our program (Entomology and Insect Science), and to facilitate student-faculty interactions.
Our meetings consist of three parts: “Bug of the Week,” where students present insects of scientific or cultural interest; announcements of upcoming outreach opportunities and other events; and the main topic, which is usually a discussion-friendly presentation about graduate life in our program.
